A horizontal lock is designed for products that require a deeper backset, which allows a larger distance from the door frame to the item of hardware. Usually the main item of ironmongery used with horizontal locks is mortice knobs. The Atlantic range includes horizontal 6 Bathroom locks and 3 Lever sashlocks.
