Description
A letter plate, also known as a letter flap, is a metal plate with a hinged flap on the exterior of a door or gate. The flap is lifted to insert mail into the plate, which is usually connected to a mail slot or mailbox on the interior of the door or gate. Letter plates are commonly used in residential and commercial buildings.
